In Microsoft Windows, the Run command is used to directly open a file with a pre-known path. It functions more or less like a single-line command line interface.

Although the Run command is still present in Windows 10, it is no longer seen directly on the Start menu by default.

Run command which is in the Accessories sub-menu can be opened by ⊞ Win+R shortcut key. However, as Microsoft support says, you can still get it back on start menu. Click here to visit that post!

Using run commands help you save a lot of time

Why?

With windows run commands, you just need to put up a word or two instead of hunting down something!

Let me tell you a shocking fact! There are over 100 windows run commands!

Just think over it! How many do you actually know?

But don’t worry! I have the resource ready for you!

I’m posting a list of 100+ Run Commands each Power-User is supposed to know by-heart (don’t worry if you can’t remember, but if you do, you won’t have to refer to this again and again!).
